The Founding Family

How the Story Goes: After years of doing design build construction, owning specialty contracting and building systems companies, as well as owning his own personal and commercial real estate, Christian lost everything. In 2017 a technology problem took him out, someone stole and encrypted most of his personal and professional data. 

15 years of business (from 2004-2019) data gone, years and years of his “Grow, Build and Give” systems and strategies gone as well. Not only did Christian own companies, he got deeply involved in personal & professional development starting in 2006 after he had had enough of trying to figure it all out alone. Christian found the mentoring, coaching and advice he had been seeking his whole life once he found “Success” magazine.  Later Christian read Darren Hardy’s “Compound Effect” Book and went through his “Living your best year ever”, it was life changing. Then, after attending a mastermind class in 2012 things really shifted into high gear professionally. Christian became an insanely productive machine that out performed everyone in the class by growing 200% 2 years in a row doing electrical contracting in a town of 3000 people.

One problem, his personal life was a mess during all his so called successful business days. In 2012 the same year Christian became a millionaire for the first time he almost took his life. However, a few months later at Darren Hardy’s Elite Mastermind in 2013 he was saved by the grace and mercy of God by the Holy Spirit on February 28, 2013! Life would get harder after this, we would get divorced, get sued, received a demand letter from the dept. of treasury for $1.1M, his neighbor and fellow Mastermind friend Mark Bettencourt died, all within 2 years. It was a living hell. But to make matters worse as he was raising two kids as a single dad he would then lose his main company, all his assets, real estate and lifetime savings. He was broke, homeless and alone!

Like all sad stories go, this once tragic story has taken an epic turn towards the good (not a mid-life crisis). While technically homeless (but not helpless) Christian would met his future bride at a Strength and Conditioning gym “Konza Strength” he helped his then personal trainer and friend start. Sydney was taller than him, was a red head and was way too young…but God had a better plan. After a few years of faith, fitness and friendship they would Marry on May 6th in 2023. After a short honeymoon to St. Croix they packed up and moved away from Kansas. 

The calling to follow, a goal he had written back in 2010 to become a “lifestyle developer”. At the time he didn’t quit know what that was but knew Kansas wasn’t the place for it. He had become a big fish in a small pond, with a target on his back and was in need of a bigger body of water. One that catered to improving, a growth mindset and innovation. Beaver Lake perhaps ;-)!

The move, After years of looking and even turning down some killer projects in the upper northwest he decided to follow the calling and move to NWA, to the town of Bentonville, USA!

The good life, now married, with his stunning wife Sydney and baby boy “Bo” they live in the self proclaimed mountain bike capital of the world. Team Dodge moved to NWA in 2023 after Christian fell in love with the Natural State, Its outdoor recreation and Beaver Lake. What started out as a move to start a project has turned out to be much more than they ever dreamed of. This is now home and will be the World HQ and main hub for the future of lifestyle development. The way of living that more people need starts here with outdoor recreation, high quality of life and a booming recession proof economy!
