02 See the opportunity.
Look for what could make everyday life healthier, easier and more enjoyable.
03 Find the next question.
Identify what deserves a closer look before investing in a solution.
Walk through your home with fresh eyes.
Take these questions with you as you move through your home. Notice what supports your family, what could work better and what you are unsure how to evaluate.
Does your home consistently provide clean, fresh, comfortable air?
Notice freshness, odors, stuffiness, dust, ventilation, filtration, humidity and condensation. Do certain rooms feel different? Is the heating or cooling doing anything unusual?
Is water staying where it belongs—and are you confident in the water your family uses?
Notice leaks, staining, damp areas, bathrooms, basements or crawlspaces and drainage outside. Consider what you know about your drinking water and filtration.
Do the conditions around you support comfort, sleep and focus?
Notice natural light, glare, nighttime light, unwanted noise and temperature swings. Which spaces feel good to spend time in—and which does your family avoid?
Is your home easy to care for and comfortable to live with?
Consider materials, odors, cleaning effort, aging equipment, recurring repairs and deferred maintenance. What serves you well? What repeatedly asks for attention?
Does your home make the things your family does every day easier?
Walk through meals, laundry, storage, work, arrivals and departures. Consider children, pets, shared responsibilities and the daily transitions between activities.
Does your home give everyone room to rest and recharge?
Consider bedrooms, privacy, quiet, sleep conditions, screens, bathing and evening rhythms. Where can each person slow down and recover?
Does your property make the life you want easier to enjoy together?
Think about family meals, play, movement, outdoor access, friends, hospitality, hobbies and adventure. What brings you together? What would you love to do more often?
Is your home a good use of your family’s time, energy and money?
Consider upkeep, utilities, driving, repeated tasks, unused spaces, duplicated equipment and outsourced work. Where does your home give back—and where could it ask less of you?
There is no score to chase. The value is in seeing what you want to protect, what could improve and which questions deserve another perspective.
